I am a moderate Republican, but do not want to be hated for being Republican. Should I just become a Democrat?

Changing your party affiliation means nothing.. You will be mocked and hated no mater what side you chose because someone out there will always have a different set of ideas, opinions and morals and may not agree with yours. You can be a democrat and have some conservative views as well as be a republican and have liberal views. Who cares what others think of you.. At the end of the day you have to do what is in your heart, not what will make others happy... Republican and democrat, it's just a title. Changing a title doesn't mean your thoughts, beliefs and how you vote change so what really changes???? Just to make people feel better politically??? Do what you feel is best and good luck!!!
