Why do some people insist that Christmas is about Jesus Claus?

I don't understand it. Who rides in a sleigh giving presents to children during the night? Santa Claus. Who has his elves make the toys for the children of the world? Santa Claus. Who is the one living at the North Pole planning his route for Christmas all year? Santa Claus. Does Jesus have any magical reindeer? Does Jesus have a and nice list? Does Jesus see you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake? The answer to these questions is an obvious no. Christmas is about SANTA Claus, not JESUS Claus.
