Can I get in trouble for telling and recommending the troops to desert and not go back to iraq,?

Possibly. In the Supreme Court case Schenck vs. the United States, a man was sending out leaflets telling prospective soldiers to do everything in their power to avoid the draft for WWI. Ultimately this was ruled as a clear and present danger to national security because it was essential that this country fielded an army for that war. And thus the court upheld the constitutionality of Schenck's conviction. You advice could be interpreted by legal jurists as a clear and present danger to national security. I don't agree with the particular interpretation, but it could be seen that way based on precedent.
